We’re finally getting our first snow of the season, up here. Here’s the story from the Fargo Forum. We had some flurries over the past few days, but in my opinion, those don’t count. What counts is when we have some snow sticking to the ground. I made a short video, a few minutes ago. You can download it, here.
The “banging” that you hear in the video is a flag that is located just above where I was standing.
The lights are starting to flicker, a little bit, due to the wind, but we haven’t lost power, yet. If we do, I’ll lose my net connection, so I wanted to get this up here as fast as possible.

Of course that “little snow” made the national news. I absolutely love hearing the national news people talk about our weather as if it were all that bad. Or maybe it’s just sad that we are all so used to it?

Have you ever noticed that we only get talked about on the national news when roads start getting shut down? Any other time of the year, they skip right over this part of the country. I always find it amusing when the temperatures on the national weather map are scattered out in a sort-of “U” shape, across the country.
It’s been a while since I’ve watched TV, so this might have changed. I’ll have to start watching, more.

nope. hasn’t changed. Still that really nice U shape.
On a bright note, we did make national(world) news for the thunder down under bit and national news when that kid in Minot got beat up for his xbox 360.
