Florida Rep. Mark Foley’s resignation came just hours after ABC News questioned the congressman about a series of sexually explicit instant messages involving congressional pages, high school students who are under 18 years of age.
In Congress, Rep. Foley (R-FL) was part of the Republican leadership and the chairman of the House caucus on missing and exploited children.
The fact that this freak resigned so quickly and easily makes me wonder if there’s more that he’s hiding. Not really jumping to conclusions, but wondering out-loud.
Some commenters on the original article that are Republican claimed that it was some sort of witch hunt or slow news day. After the truth comes out, this is honestly not about one party or another. It’s about a sick, twisted guy that made the laws that will be used to prosecute himself.
