My First Driving Video
I always wanted to try driving with the camera rolling. This first time, I really just wanted to see how much vibration would be in the video. Surprisingly, it was pretty steady. I could have cleaned off the widshield, a bit, but I was just testing this, anyway. The video is just over 12 minutes long (20.1Mb).
I also noticed, before I started to post this, that I’ve lost the ability to add a new custom field to posts. Without doing that, I don’t think that this will actually create an enclosure. If not, I’ll have to see what I can do to get that option back, here. If it doesn’t create an enclosure, I’ll leave the post here, anyway.
Jamestown North Dakota Fire Video
I didn’t expect to be making such a lagre video, but these kinds of things happen when you least expect them. I have a lot of the details at Webfeed Central, but here are the links to the videos:
Medium Quality (42.5Mb)
High Quality (142.5Mb)
ADDED: The 18 minute movie was actually bits a pieces of separate movies that I patched together. Overall, the time span that was shown in the movie covered from about 2:30am to just after 4:30am. For a while, it didn’t seem like they were making any progress.
First Time On Camera
I was given a push by a good friend of mine, to try my hand at my own video podcast. There’s still some things that I need to learn about video, though. I recorded one, this morning, and although the lighting is all wrong (it’s a little dark), I decided to go ahead and post it, anyway. You can download the wmv video here, and you should be able to subscribe to the video feed here.UPDATED: The video feed is now compatible with iTunes!
Finally Getting Some Snow
We’re finally getting our first snow of the season, up here. Here’s the story from the Fargo Forum. We had some flurries over the past few days, but in my opinion, those don’t count. What counts is when we have some snow sticking to the ground. I made a short video, a few minutes ago. You can download it, here.
The “banging” that you hear in the video is a flag that is located just above where I was standing.
The lights are starting to flicker, a little bit, due to the wind, but we haven’t lost power, yet. If we do, I’ll lose my net connection, so I wanted to get this up here as fast as possible.
